Yes, it has been a while since I last posted something. From the beginning of this year, I’ve been *so* busy that whenever I promised myself to post an entry, I would find myself exhausted and wanting sleep instead. I only got to write something now because I’m currently in Cebu and I technically have 3 days of no work in preparation for what my job has in store for me. I feel like I have saved enough updates already to finally share this with anyone reading.

My life has been more interesting this 2017. Last December, Gelo gave me a puppy for Christmas and we decided to call her Gypsy. I don’t know, I fancied the name at the time and it just matched my boho side. I was even planning to spell it as “Gypsea” but then I thought it was kinda too much. She’s a lean-type Pomeranian who likes kisses and kids. Needless to say, I’m happy we chose to get a dog! A cat wouldn’t be a bad idea either but we figured that getting a dog would make us more energetic and positive and motivated to get out of the house now. It’s been quite effective so far.

We have also moved to Cavite so we could be nearer our office’s new location which is now in Pasay. This would be the 4th place we have transferred to but the good thing is we’re renting an entire house this time! It may be far away from my parents’ house in Bulacan, but now that I know how to drive, I’m sure that won’t be a huge problem. 😊
I can’t post a photo yet because the place is always messy but hopefully once I fly back to MNL Gelo will have already cleaned it for me. That would be the best going-home gift yet. LOL.

Speaking of driving, I’ve become sooo much better at it. But for the first week of the year I hit a wall with the Chevy and I spent thousands just to have it fixed. You bet I became traumatized after that! It took me another few weeks before I had the courage to try again. They say it’s normal to get some scratches here and there especially if it’s your first car, but that’s only if you have enough money to buy your next. I financially need this to last as long as vintage cars do so that’s why I’ve been reading up on car maintenance lately.

That’s all of the major stuff that’s happened to me lately, folks! What about you, how have you been? 🙂

    Your dog is so precious!!

Driving is all practice! When i first started driving, I got in a few messes myself. It’s been 5 years since I’ve last been pulled over *knock on wood* Practice makes perfect, as they say.

It took me awhile to get the courage to drive as well. Still not a huge fan of it, TBH. At least it gets me from point a to point b,

    What a pretty dog!

Thanks, Brandy! I’m not that good yet with driving either, especially with parallel parking!

Glad to have you back! You definitely deserved a break, especially if it’s to focus more on your work and personal health.
Awww, Gypsy is so cute! I have a pom too, named Chewie, but he’s mixed with shih tzu blood. Poms are one of the most energetic dogs there is!
I first learned how to drive manually last year but haven’t practiced much since then because I have nowhere to park at my previous company. Congratulations on improving nicely! <3

Thanks, Gillian! I agree with what you said about pomeranians. They’re sometimes too energetic! Haha
